Counter Fire

Counter Fire is a strategy arcade fire management hybrid game centered on indigenous fire management practices of coolburns.

The design promotes wildfire management practices and presents the important role coolburns play in caring for the environment.
Overall, Counter Fire from the start was designed with children in mind, so the game is educational, appropriate and visually simplistic.

Designed and developed for future port to mobile systems.

Hardware limitations influenced the visual assets and mechanics used, with considerations to prevent future performance issues.

Counter Fire is a student developed project for the DES project brief at QUT.
